Kicking off the Fort Worth Opera

"The Fort Worth Opera kicks off their festival this weekend, and we are ridiculously excited about it! We've got our tickets and we're ready to roll! The first opera of the festival is the Mozart staple Don Giovanni. However, we're not going to talk aobut it today because the first opera we will be attending is on Sunday and will be Donizetti's famous L'elisir d'amore, or The Elixir of Love!
Elixir of Love is a crown jewel among bel canto/comic operas of the nineteenth century, and Donizetti is one of the best composers of the genre. This is always a must-see production if you're a comic-opera fan — and who isn't?"
