Susanna Phillips Dazzles in Fort Worth.

Sophisticated Singer, Susanna Phillips.
Alabama native Susanna Phillips has attracted special recognition for a voice of striking beauty and sophistication. Ms. Phillips is a winner of many of the world's leading vocal competitions and is rapidly debuting in opera companies across the country including, the Metropolitan Opera. She will make her Fort Worth Opera debut as Donna Anna in Don Giovanni during the 2010 Festival.
Dallas Morning News critic Scott Cantrell said of her performance in Don Giovanni during the 2009 Santa Fe Opera Festival, "Susanna Phillips sings gloriously as Donna Elvira, her upper range gleaming, her phrases suavely shaped."
Ms. Phillips dazzled in Fort Worth recently as she performed during a private recital for a few Fort Worth Opera patrons. By the time she was done, the audience started counting the days until her return for the 2010 Festival.
