In Memoriam: Dolores M. Koch, who translated the book Before Night Falls into English, and friend of Reinaldo Arenas, passed away on June 11. Ms. Koch, a renowned translator and author, helped Jorge Martín co-write the libretto for the opera, Before Night Falls.
Before her passing she told Segunda Juventud, "Reinaldo [Arenas] would have been overjoyed with this opera."
