Comedy opens the Fort Worth Opera Festival. Opening night of the Fort Worth Opera Festival 2011 begins Saturday, May 14 with Gilbert and Sullivan’s famous, two-act, comic-opera The Mikado.  If you are unable to make it on Saturday, do not fear, the Festival will provide many chances for you to “get your laugh on” at the opera. With Bass Hall performances on Sunday, May 22, Friday, May 27, and Saturday, June 4, you can surely find a way to make it.
