Fort Worth Opera Festival is back with old favorite, world premiere
Date: 5/6/2010 By Star-Telegram

"Once a year, one of the great opera trifectas -- make that really the only local, festival-organized opera-palooza -- sends out soaring arias to Metroplex opera lovers. Of course, we're talking about the Fort Worth Opera's fourth annual festival. It will feature one of the all-time crowd-pleasers in Don Giovanni, a lovely romantic excursion via The Elixir of Love and the hotly anticipated world premiere of Before Night Falls. The festival sings its way onto the Bass Hall stage May 22 with Don Giovanni and won't stop until June 6 with the final performance of Before Night Falls. $5-$154. 817-731-0726; www.fwopera.org."
