The Opera Guild and its members support Fort Worth Opera financially through special fundraising events, educational programs, and by providing hospitality for the visiting artists. Several events are planned annually, including the Fall and Spring Luncheons, a Holiday Party, and an Annual Fashion Show and Luncheon. In addition, the Opera Guild sponsors the Marguerite McCammon Voice Competition every two years. The McCammon Voice Competition gives vocal artists an opportunity to perform and compete for cash prizes to assist them while working toward a professional opera career.
