Opera Ball

A Gala Evening of Fun & Celebration -  Opera Ball

The elegant Fort Worth Opera Ball is Fort Worth Opera's single largest fundraiser of the year. It is also the first party of the Fort Worth Opera social season, and one of the most entertaining!

Last year, this magical event, attracting the major patrons and supporters of our wonderful arts community raised over $150,000. The funds raised benefit essential programs such as Children's Opera Theater and the Fort Worth Opera Studio, as well as our internationally recognized and highly anticipated Fort Worth Opera Festival.

Fort Worth Opera is grateful to have support for our programs in the form of sponsorship of a table at the annual Opera Ball.  2014 Sponsors will be honored with an exclusive party.

By buying a ticket or table, volunteering for the committee, or donating items for the auction, your support of the Fort Worth Opera Ball ensures that Fort Worth Opera, one of the oldest opera companies in Texas and one of the most respected in the nation, will continue to be a source of artistic sophistication and entertainment excellence for future generations

On September 13, 2014, Fort Worth Opera will celebrate with the 54th Annual Opera Ball benefiting Fort Worth Opera. The beautiful Omni Fort Worth Hotel will feature a silent auction with travel, culinary, fashion and many other exciting offerings, as well as a casino, a Wine Pull, and dancing to the swingin' tunes of Trey & the Tritones. This will be the party of the season!

Tickets are $375 per person.  Tables are available at $3,750, $5,000, $10,000 or $20,000.  For more information or to purchase tickets, contact Erin Shults at erin.s@fwopera.org or by phone at 817.288.1227.

History

The Fort Worth Opera Ball has a long history of success, both as a fundraiser for the company and as the party no one wants to miss. Partygoers agree that it is an exciting evening of fun and celebration, as well as a fitting reward for their support of the Opera and its continuing artistic excellence.  The music, decorations, cuisine and the venues are top notch: past Fort Worth Opera Balls have been held at the Hilton Hotel, the Renaissance Worthington,  Ridglea Country Club, the Fort Worth Club, and, this year's ball, at the Omni Fort Worth Hotel in downtown Fort Worth.

Party goers at the Opera Ball

We invite you to celebrate with us to make this year's Ball the most successful yet.  Just like an opera production, it takes many individuals – each playing their part – to make an incredible evening of art and magic.
