Our own Darren K. Woods will be taking part in a very special event on Wednesday, August 24, 2011, at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts in Vienna, VA.

As an alumnus of the esteemed Wolf Trap Opera Company, Darren will be a guest presenter at the 40th Anniversary Wolf Trap Opera Company Alumni Concert, "Opera's Greatest Hits From Wolf Trap Opera's Alumni Stars." 

We are so excited and proud that Darren was asked to participate in the 40^th anniversary of such a great company like Wolf Trap Opera.

Alumni superstars representing all four decades of the Company's history perform signature arias from Verdi, Puccini, Wagner and more. Some of the artists who are confirmed to be in attendance are sopranos Tracy Dahl, Mary Dunleavy, and Emily Pulley; mezzo-sopranos Stephanie Blythe, and Denyce Graves; tenors Lawrence Brownlee, Nicholas Phan, Carl Tanner and James Valenti; baritones Richard Paul Fink, and Robert Orth; bass-baritone Alan Held; and bass Matt Boehler.suchwho will be du of Darren will be sharing funny anecdotes, introducing singers, etc.
