"...The table is set, the wine breathing. The prep work is done. The dinner hosts are relaxed and happy. Cocktails will be served in the garden, then it's inside for the first course of salmon with fennel followed by an arugula and ricotta salad. The main course is tenderloin with Parmesan and a syrupy balsamic-vinegar reduction.

Even before the doorbell rings, the hosts know that guests will swoon over the risotto with truffle oil, not to mention the dessert: a cake rich with orange zest and sherry that's simply, well, spectacular..."
