Carmen | Beth Clayton
Renowned as a unique musician and stage performer, Beth Clayton has been praised for her outstanding performances with America's leading opera companies and orchestras. She is a graduate of Southern Methodist University and the Manhattan School of Music.

 

Don José | Roger Honeywell
Tenor Roger Honeywell has been acclaimed as a performer "with the right kind of heroic mettle to his voice." (Opera Now). Recent career highlights include the American premiere of Tan Dun's Tea: A mirror of Soul with Santa Fe Opera and the World premiere of Ricky Ian Gordon's The Grapes of Wrath at the Minnesota Opera and Utah Symphony and Opera.

 

Escamillo | Morgan Smith
Since making his professional debut in 2001, baritone Morgan Smith has performed with numerous opera companies, symphonies, and musical organizations across North America. Originally from White Plains, NY, Mr. Smith received his training from Columbia College and the Mannes College of Music in New York City.

 

Micaëla | Sandra Lopez
Performances in the 2007-2008 season finds soprano Sandra Lopez at Fort Worth Opera as Liu in Turandot, soloist in Handel's Messiah for performances in Mandeville, Louisiana, and a Christmas Eve Extravaganza performance in Manger Square, Bethlehem, Israel. Other performances include Beethoven's Ninth Symphony for performances in Beijing and Shanghai, as well as several recitals throughout China.
