Health & Wellness Protocols

MASKS ARE NO LONGER REQUIRED, BUT STRONGLY RECOMMENDED AT ALL INDOOR EVENTS.

The safety of our audience members, artists, and staff is always our top priority. Out of an abundance of caution, we have implemented new health and wellness protocols to allow the community to continue to enjoy our live performances.

Due to currently low community spread, FWO will not be requiring face coverings in the audience chamber. The safety of our artists is paramount and we strongly recommend your consideration of wearing a face covering during our performances.

Should the COVID-19 Community Level for Tarrant County raise to “Medium” or “High”, or should the CDC alter their guidance, FWO may reinstate the required face coverings policy during our season.

Up to Date COVID-19 community levels can be found here.

These protocols were designed in accordance with national public health recommendation. Fort Worth Opera is committed to providing the safest experience possible this season for our audiences. We will continue to monitor health environment changes closely and notify ticket holders of any updates to this policy should they arise, including in pre-show email reminders, and here on our website.

FAQ:

Will temperatures and health screenings be taken at the door?

No. FWO has suspended temperature checks and health screenings.

Will indoor seating be socially distanced?
Indoor events have returned to full capacity at all venues.

Will concessions still be offered at any of the venues throughout FWO’s 22/23 Season?

Concession offerings will vary from venue to venue, but outside food and beverages will not be permitted inside the venues.

What other safety precautions are in place for indoor events?

Hand sanitizer will be available throughout our venues for your use. Staff at all venues are required to wear masks at all times and frequently wash and sanitize their hands. Fort Worth Opera will have extra masks on-hand should a patron leave theirs at home.
