Health & Wellness Protocols

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY: MASKS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES, EXCEPT WHEN ACTIVELY EATING OR DRINKING, TO ATTEND FORT WORTH OPERA INDOOR EVENTS.

The safety of our audience members, artists, and staff is always our top priority. Out of an abundance of caution, we have implemented new health and wellness protocols to allow the community to continue to enjoy our live performances.

Effective immediately, Fort Worth Opera will be requiring the following to attend all INDOOR events.

Masks must be worn at all times indoors and outdoors, except while actively eating or drinking. Masks/face coverings must be worn over both the mouth and nose.

These protocols were designed in accordance with national public health recommendation. Fort Worth Opera is committed to providing the safest experience possible this season for our audiences. We will continue to monitor health environment changes closely and notify ticket holders of any updates to this policy should they arise, including in pre-show email reminders, and here on our website.

FAQ:

What if a child or someone in my group cannot/will not wear a mask?

Our mask policy is in place for each person who attends a Fort Worth Opera event and we cannot make exceptions. If you or any member of your group are unable to wear a mask, we invite you to call or email our box office to find out options and more information.

Will temperatures and health screenings be taken at the door?

No. FWO has suspended temperature checks and health screenings.

Will indoor seating be socially distanced?
Indoor events have returned to full capacity at all venues.

Will concessions still be offered at any of the venues throughout FWO’s 21/22 Season?

Concession offerings will vary from venue to venue, but outside food and beverages will not be permitted inside the venues.

What other safety precautions are in place for indoor events?

Seats, bathrooms, and other high-touch surfaces will be thoroughly sanitized before each show. Hand sanitizer will be available throughout our venues for your use. Staff at all venues are required to wear masks at all times and frequently wash and sanitize their hands. Fort Worth Opera will have extra masks on-hand should a patron leave theirs at home.

Can I get a refund for my tickets?

Please contact our Box Office Team by calling 817.731.0726 or email us at boxoffice@fwopera.org to find out about our refund policy.
