Following an immensely popular online masterclass series with Fort Worth Opera this summer, Ms. Rowley returns for an exclusive, six-week Virtual Audition Intensive to prepare young opera singers for the fall audition season ahead.

MASTERCLASS & SEMINAR OVERVIEW

Jennifer Rowley's Virtual Audition Intensive (August 22 - September 26) will be held every Saturday on Zoom and simultaneously streamed to FWO and Ms. Rowley's Facebook pages. These insightful masterclasses and seminars will provide emerging artists with detailed information and guidance on preparation for virtual auditions; personal branding and digital marketing; repertoire selection; dramatic and vocal interpretation; navigating the application and audition process for young artist programs, mainstage auditions, and international competitions; and acquiring management. This multi-week series will all be presented with a twist — live audition panels featuring top industry professionals.
Singers chosen to participate in the six Saturday masterclasses and seminars will be announced each week on Fort Worth Opera and Ms. Rowley's Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts. To follow Fort Worth Opera on social media, click on the icons below.

September 5, 12, 19, 26 - Live Virtual Audition Panels
AUDITION INFO (SUBMISSIONS ACCEPTED AUGUST 14-21)
Friday, August 14 through Friday, August 21, singers can submit their materials to be considered for each of Ms. Rowley’s Saturday masterclasses and seminars. After the 21st, any late submissions will not be considered for the Virtual Audition Intensive.
MATERIALS REQUIRED: Email a current resume, headshot, 2 recent video selections, phone number for Ms. Rowley (in case of technical emergencies), your website URL and social media handles if available.
If selected for one of the first 2 video classes, you will need to provide an accompaniment track or live pianist for your selection of one aria.
If selected for an audition panel, you will need to be prepared with a full 5 contrasting aria package, have accompaniment tracks for all of the arias, or a live pianist.
NOTE: If you have sung for us on a Summer Masterclass, you do not need to apply again! Please send us an email indicating your interest in participating again. If you have previously applied, you only need to apply again, if you were not selected for a class and want to provide us with new video, or updated materials.
AGE LIMIT: 18 or older to apply, as we will be streaming the masterclasses and seminars live to Facebook from Zoom, and FWO will be posting the classes online for viewing at a later date. All ages are welcome to observe!
