Jennifer Chung Quintard

Director of Artistic Administration

Currently the Director of Artistic Administration for Fort Worth Opera, Jennifer has enjoyed a varied career as both a singer and arts administrator.

Born in Anderson, South Carolina, Jennifer received her very first operatic contract from then-General Director of Fort Worth Opera -William Walker, at age 19, to sing “Frasquita” in Bizet’s Carmen. While pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Texas Christian University, Fort Worth Opera would prove to be integral in helping launch her career after she went on to win the prestigious Marguerite McCammon Vocal Competition in 2001, thereby earning her another mainstage role also in Carmen, but in a leading role as “Micaela”.

Jennifer has enjoyed singing on some of the world’s prestigious stages, including the Zürich Opernhaus (Zürich, Switzerland), Carnegie Hall, The Salzburg Festivals at the Mozarteum, the Basel Symphony Orchestra, St. Gallen Symphony Orchestra and others. Locally, she sang several seasons in a row with The Dallas Opera (most recently in 2014-2015), The Fort Worth Symphony, Arizona Opera Company, Kentucky Opera, Charlottesville Opera, and concerts in New York City.

From 2016-2020, she was asked to join the Artistic Team at The Dallas Opera, where she honed her skills managing artists, contracts, visa petitions, and artistic operations. She is overjoyed to be working again with the company she calls “home”, and looks forward to helping lead Fort Worth Opera into a bright, promising future.
