Why is Fort Worth Opera presenting opera in a bar?
Because opera is fun and we want you to experience that. If it means we have to bring it to a bar for you to enjoy a sample of it, we will do that. Opera is very accessible whether it's at a favorite Fort Worth bar or at beautiful Bass Performance Hall. Opera Shots is a whole new experience for us too, so let's jump into it together!
What should you expect from attending Opera Shots?
You should expect to enjoy a few great drinks and hear a type of opera karoke sung by actual opera singers in a very casual atmosphere.
What should you wear?
Um, wear what you want. If you want to wear a suit, more power to you, but we will be wearing t-shirts and jeans - it's a bar after all.
