Fort Worth Opera welcomes internationally renowned Trinidadian soprano Jeanine De Bique for a one-night-only recital at Van Cliburn Concert Hall at TCU. Joined by distinguished Belgian pianist Aaron Wajnberg, De Bique brings her luminous voice and extraordinary artistry to Fort Worth for an intimate evening of music and storytelling.

This special recital marks De Bique and Wajnberg’s Fort Worth debut and officially opens Fort Worth Opera’s 81st Season, bringing an internationally celebrated artist to North Texas for an evening of extraordinary music, storytelling, and connection.

PROGRAM

The October 29 recital will feature “Silent Stories: A Grain of Light,” a program showcasing De Bique’s artistry across Baroque repertoire, art song, Caribbean folk songs, and African American spirituals, with selections by composers including Henry Purcell, George Frideric Handel, André Previn, and Henry T. Burleigh.
